How are these three types different?
A home health agency sends nurses and therapists for intermittent skilled care under a doctor's order, a hospice provides comfort care for someone with a prognosis of six months or less, and an adult day health care center is a place a participant goes during the day for health monitoring, meals, activities and help with medications.
Hourly personal care aides are licensed separately in Louisiana as home and community-based services providers, a category this directory does not list.
